Floor preparation underway in a cleared room before finishing

Hybrid Flooring Ranges

Waterproof rigid-core ranges with floating installation and practical colourways.

WHAT HYBRID FLOORING IS

Hybrid flooring is a rigid plank floor built around a waterproof composite core. The catalogue includes SPC and rigid limestone composite ranges, with timber-look or stone-look decorative layers, clear wear layers and floating click installation systems.

The main strengths are water resistance, speed of installation, controlled finished height and easy cleaning. Those strengths can suit Sutherland Shire rentals, townhouses, apartments, family living areas, kitchens, laundries and practical renovations.

The main limitation is that hybrid is not real timber. It cannot be sanded back like a timber veneer or solid board, and it still needs a flat, stable substrate.

HYBRID RANGES

CHOOSING BETWEEN HYBRID RANGES

Compare the ranges by core, total thickness, wear layer, underlay, acoustic rating, surface texture and board dimensions. Integrated underlay can simplify installation and help with apartment or townhouse acoustic expectations.

For slab-on-ground homes, moisture and flatness checks should happen before ordering. For apartments and townhouses, acoustic requirements, common-area access, lifts, parking and work-hour limits can affect the quote.

Use the colourway pages to narrow tone and undertone, then compare this with hybrid flooring installation when the product category is confirmed.
